The 2025 Grammy Awards officially began on Sunday, February 2, ushering in what is widely regarded as the most important evening in music. Now in its fifth consecutive year with Trevor Noah at the helm, the Recording Academy’s annual extravaganza was staged at Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles. This year’s celebration spotlighted the breakout stars of 2024, the chart-topping hits that defined the year, and the artists whose music you just couldn’t stop playing.

Not only is Beyoncé the most awarded singer in Grammy history, but she also recently became the artist with the highest number of nominations ever, totaling 99 to date.

Even with nearly 100 categories covering a vast spectrum of genres, Beyoncé faced fierce competition from other heavily nominated acts such as Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, Billie Eilish, and Charli XCX. In addition, rising stars like Sabrina Carpenter, Shaboozey, and Chappell Roan are making waves this year.
