It’s quite uncommon to meet people like Amoding Mercy! In Africa, it usually takes a lot of confidence for a girl to stand up and choose a career path. The society demands that a child follows a particular pattern in order to be considered successful. This is the pattern of going through Nursery school, primary school up until university without doing anything else. The problem with this pattern is the fact that a child grows up to be an inexperienced adult both in their area of expertise and passion. Today we bring you someone who has broken these odds!
Who Is Amoding Mercy?
Born on 2nd December, Amoding Mercy is a Ugandan cover artiste born to parents based in Eastern Uganda.
She is an average height beautiful black Itesot girl with a sensational voice for singing popular song covers. Mercy started doing covers way back in high school. However, she believes that she officially started in 2021.
What Are Cover Songs?
Covers are versions of popular songs sang by fans or cover artistes. For example, Amoding has been singing songs of local Ugandan musicians like Winnie Nwagi and posting to her YouTube channel.

What Are Amoding Mercy’s Hobbies?
We asked her about her hobbies and she immediately talked about travelling which she does with all her heart. She also enjoys listening to music and dancing.
The type of music she sings is more of RnB and romance. Hinting on why she sings her heart out, Mercy revealed that it is her passion. She told us that when she’s off the microphone, Amoding is a powerful activist. “When I’m out of the studio, I am fighting for women’s rights. I am an activist, and I am proud of it!”, says Mercy Amoding.So, what inspires this beautiful Ugandan girl, you probably ask. She is moved by her own life experiences and the life people go through. She hopes that her music might probably heal some hearts. Her favorite Ugandan musicians are Fille, Sheebah and Rema Namakula. Internationally, Amoding enjoys Rihanna and Chris Brown.
