By that time, the game was 1-0 in favor of Manchester United. In the 63rd minute, the Gunners equalized, leveling the score at 1-1. However, it didn’t end there; an Arsenal player was fouled in Manchester United’s penalty box, leading to a penalty being awarded to the Gunners.

Arsenal’s captain, Martin Ødegaard, wearing shirt number 8, stepped up to take the penalty. However, Manchester United’s goalkeeper, Altay Bayındır, made an impressive save to prevent the ball from finding the net.

At full-time, the game ended with each side scoring one goal, leading to extra time, which also failed to produce a winner. The match then proceeded to a penalty shootout.
