“Slow Dancer” Azawi literally shutdown Lugogo showgrounds with the explosive concert she put up on 22nd July. The songstress set the bar so high when the place was filled to brim. Fans flooded the entire ground with an exceptional party mood.

Azawi concert

This being her very first concert alone is a record breaker! However, Azawi as a personality apart from her Swangz Avenue record label is an ace.

The show was extremely fascinating that it left a one Mugibson exclaiming, “Azawi shines brightest!”

With her sensational voice, Azawi was able to move the thousands of people.

During a TV show recently though, Azawi admitted that the whole idea was super scary for her at first.

“I was scared but what motivated me is that I had so many people that show faith in me saying we can do it. So we went with faith and released the posters on social media, and at that point it was irreversible,”

Iconic Moments In Azawi Concert

On top of setting the standard for several other Ugandan musicians, Azawi had some outstanding moments.

Another catchy thing she did was the simple dress code which helped her connect with her fans. Azawi was dressed in shorts and shirts every time she showed up on stage.

Past this concert, most of her fans are admitting that Azawi is a global artist. Some of them believe that she is just her journey.

With the success of her song Quinamino in 2020, Azawi has consistently shone brighter and brighter. The maiden concert tickets got sold out and this indicates that the musician is quite magnetic.
