Renowned events promoter and Minister Balaam Barugahara Ateenyi has hit back at claims made by singer King Saha, who accused him of failing to pay for multiple performances. Saha took to TikTok, revealing frustrations over unpaid concert dues. However, Balaam has come forward to refute these allegations, asserting that the artist is misguided.
“Yesterday I was on TikTok and saw my young brother King Saha claiming that I did not pay him for the concert he sang a long time ago. But for King Saha, I just have to pray for him because he is dealing with so many things that are not going right in his life, and I pledge to help him overcome,” Balaam stated.
He went further, claiming to have contributed to the construction of King Saha’s multi-million mansion in Nakawuka, a contribution that Saha conveniently left out during his rant. “Even when he was building his house, I contributed to the material that built his mansion,” Balaam revealed.
Denying any outstanding debt, Balaam stood firm: “He doesn’t demand me any money because I always pay people who work for me. I may give you little, but I always pay up my debts.”
Additionally, Balaam condemned the recent behavior of Weasel, who allegedly assaulted promoter Nobat over a payment dispute after the ‘Memories of Goodlyfe’ concert. The promoter hinted at possible consequences for Weasel, stating that action would be taken under the National Promoters Association to prevent such incidents from recurring.
