Burna Boy to release Sixth Studio Album

When speaking about great Musicians who have graced the African continent as well as made it across the globe, one cannot miss out to mention Burna Boy. The Nigerian-born singer who came to the limelight in 2012 has steadily risen through the ranks to be called the “King Kong of Afro-fusion ( some prefer Afrobeat or Afropop ).

News of the New Album

Burna Boy personally announced the news last week during his “ One Night in Space” concert. The sold-out concert was held at the Legendary Madison Square Garden in New York. Those who attended and streamed the concert online testify that it was one of the greatest performances the “ Kilometre “ Hitmaker has ever delivered.

Apparently “ Love Damini “ has been confirmed as the name of Burna Boy’s Sixth album. The much-anticipated album will be released on 2nd July 2022. This date is personal as it is Burna’s Birthday when he will turn 31 years of age.

What to expect from “ Love Damini “

Taking a look at the previous Burna Boy albums there has been a similar trend in them. The albums always depicted what the singer was going through. Most of these are proving himself to his critics, and commenting on social issues in Nigeria and Africa as a whole among other situations.

Ed Sheeran could be among the contributors to the album. Burna shared an ice-cold picture of the UK’s finest Musician. This is an indicator that UK UK-based musician who has a global chat-topping hit song with Fireboy DML “ Peru” will be part of the Album.
