Burna Boy, the Grammy-winning African Giant, is undoubtedly one of the biggest artists on the continent. But bringing him to perform is no small feat it comes with a hefty price tag.
Burna Boy’s Booking Fee: How Much Does It Cost to Book Him?
To book Burna Boy for a show, you need a cool $1 million. Yes, you read that right. That’s the standard rate for the Nigerian superstar. However, when it comes to Kenya, he was kind enough to offer a discounted price. And what was this “discount”? A staggering 128 million Kenyan shillings!

Now, let’s put that into perspective for Uganda. If you convert that amount to Ugandan shillings, the numbers shoot up into the billions figures, approximately UGX 3,636,483,666 which is simply mind-boggling. Realistically speaking, bringing Burna Boy to Uganda might just be a dream. Maybe we should take a flight to Kenya, and then watch him from there!
Burna Boy’s Special Requests for His Nairobi Concert
On top of his performance fee, Burna Boy has a list of requirements that scream superstar treatment. He requested a private jet to cater for his journey, which was not a problem. But then comes the demand for a five-star hotel not just a room or a suite, but 60 rooms for his people. Now, that’s a whole army of people moving with him.

At this point, it’s clear: Burna is operating on a different level. He’s not just an artist; he’s an entire institution. So, for now, maybe Uganda should just admire him from a distance, enjoy his music, and leave the big bookings to those who can handle the price tag.
