East FM Radio in Tororo holds the annual “Burudika na East Fm” show to celebrate its existence with the community. This year, on September 7, 2024, the station marked its 9th anniversary. The event took place at Lions Children’s Park in Tororo.
During the event, activities began as early as 10 a.m. at the venue, primarily featuring a kids’ party. Outside the venue, there were bicycle races for both men and women. These early activities were a success, with the community winning various goodies that were up for grabs.
Who Showed Up at the Event ?
According to the earlier performance lineup, all the headlining artists attended the Burudika na East FM 2024, Tororo event.
Among the headlining artists were Spice Diana, known as the Star Gal, B2C Soldiers (also known as Kampala Boys), and Acidic Vokoz, the lyrical genius. All of them attended the show.
Spice Diana took the stage by storm, with the crowd singing along to her hit songs like “Thirty Two,” “Siri Regular,” “Ndi Mu Love,” “Baligeya,” and “Wendi,” among others, at the Burudika na East FM 2024, event in Tororo. The B2C Soldiers delivered an unmatched performance, especially when they sang their all-time favorites like “Munda Awo,” “Gutuja,” and their latest hit “Omeeze,” featuring Rema Namakula.
Acidic Vokoz, currently one of Uganda’s top-selling male artists, performed his most popular song of the year, “It’s Okay.” The crowd, so captivated by the song, sang it louder than him, leaving Acidic Vokoz to simply watch in admiration as the audience enjoyed the tune, nodding and walking across the stage.
Regional and local artists from Tororo were not left out, as they had the opportunity to showcase their performance skills. Artists such as Sande King, Ushmel, Shinestar Uganda, Laxco, BK Muwonge, Neval, Chosen Racho, and Undertaker Boy, among others, graced the stage with their talents.

Who Were the MCs and DJs ?
There was an exciting lineup of MCs and DJs at Burudika na East FM 2024, Tororo. However, during Spice Diana’s performance, Deejay Leone was in control of the music flow. Known as a “one-drop” DJ, Deejay Leone is always precise with the performance list and can seamlessly play without an artist’s playlist, delivering perfection. Other DJs included DJ Jumix, who also kept the crowd entertained throughout the event.
The MCs for the event were Bk Muwonge, MC Galaxy and MC Kuls, who hyped the show to the fullest, keeping the crowd energized and entertained throughout the event.
