Busitema University Final Graduation List Released

Despite being a weekend, Busitema University officials worked tooth and nail. With only a few days to June 24, where the University will have its 12th Graduation ceremony, a series of events are being undertaken.

On Tuesday 14 June , the University released a provisional graduation list . A number of cases were not right and had to be handled. Such cases included: missing marks, delayed submission of Research work by certain Finalists and many more.

Final Graduation List Released

On Sunday at around 10 : 40 AM the list was released. It spread like quick fire across the various Social Media platforms especially WhatsApp groups. A number of changes had been made.

The previous list list that had 948 Graduads. The new list that was released yesterday had an addition of around 600 Graduads taking the number to 1511.

Despite the increased addition of more people on the graduation list that is considered to be final, more people are still missing out . These are following up to see if they can still be added on the list before its too late.

On Monday 20th June KET received an updated and final list that has 1491 Graduads.The latter were advised to clear up with accounts office so as to get invitation cards,tags and car parking stickers.

How many people to accompany the graduate ?

As is the norm, universities often limit the number of people a graduad can come with. This is done to avoid huge number of people. For instance one may come along with the whole clan . Imagine if half of the graduads did this!

Speaking to one of Convocation Leaders who knows about Busitema University’s plans Honourable Kalibo Abuneli ( aka Thinker Abner ), a maximum of three people including the graduad are allowed. And in the invitation card, where it says the company of You write your name ( the graduad) and one of their invitees holds that card at the entrance. The invitation card is got after payment of graduation fee at the Main campus from the Records office.
