Carrefour has announced UGX 56 million worth of cash prizes to be gifted to MyCLUB members. This comes as they celebrate four years in Uganda

How can one win a prize from Carrefour?

Carrefour shoppers have the chance to win UGX 1 million by participating in the #C4anniversary social media challenge

According to their press release, Carrefour Uganda has committed to providing its customers with unbeatable value and choice. They have existed since 2020 the past four years and promise to do so.

Carrefour, under the ownership of Majid Al Futtaim, marks its four-year anniversary in Uganda, promising millions in rewards and discounts for shoppers starting from January 31st until February 13th, 2024.

Million-Shilling Rewards for Loyal Customers

To express gratitude for their loyalty, Carrefour is giving away UGX one million daily for 14 days to four lucky MyCLUB members. This will eventually total to UGX 56 million in rewards.

In addition to the cash prizes, shoppers can enjoy discounts of up to 50 per cent across various categories, including groceries, fresh food, electronics, appliances, and homeware. Engaging competitions with instant prizes are also on offer.

The Carrefour Social Media Challenge 2024

The brand invites shoppers to participate in an anniversary social media challenge. By sharing a 30-second video extending birthday wishes to the retailer using the hashtag #C4anniversary and tagging Carrefour Uganda, participants stand a chance to win UGX one million based on video engagement and views.

Furthermore, Carrefour has been actively supporting the local economy by sourcing 99 per cent of its products from over 500 local suppliers, creating numerous job opportunities. Through initiatives like “Round Up Your Bill,” Carrefour has raised over UGX 290 million for various community projects.
