As if that wasn’t enough, another Arsenal corner, this time delivered by Bukayo Saka, found Thomas Partey at the far post. Partey’s header deflected off William Saliba and into the Manchester United net, making it 2-0 in the 73rd minute. Arsenal then displayed the dominance expected of title contenders.

Jurrien Timber’s header was Arsenal’s 21st goal from a corner since the start of last season in the Premier League—more than any other team in that period. Adding William Saliba’s goal, Arsenal have now scored 22 goals from corners since the beginning of last season, seven more than their closest rivals.
Remarkably, Arsenal have now won four consecutive Premier League matches against Manchester United for the first time in history. In simple terms, Manchester United have gone two years without a league win against Arsenal.
Arsenal’s win means they are now in the third position in the English Premier League table , seven points behind table leaders Liverpool. The latter drew 3-3 with Newcastle United despite winning last time round against reigning Champions Manchester City.
