Ugandan dancehall rapper, Fik Fameica aka King Kong has landed a huge gig. Fik will appear on the upcoming Rick Ross “African” Album. The announcement regarding Fik Fameica’s involvement in the album surfaced during an Instagram live stream with Belaire CEO, Brett Berish.

How many countries and artists in Africa will Rick Ross work with?
According to sources, the project will highlight the diversity of talent across the African continent. American rapper, Rick Ross noted that it will feature 12 artists from 12 different countries. These will include Fik Fameica, Diamond Platnumz and more.
Who is Fik Fameica?
Born Walukagga Shafik in Kampala, Fik Fameica became known as a rapper by the stage names Fresh Boy and more commonly, Fik Fameica. He made his debut with 2015’s club banger “Pistol,” though it was the 2017 track “Byenyena” as well as a contract with Kama Ivien Management that put him on the national map. He has slowly become a darling to most youth such that he remained trending till date. We are yet to find out how he will sound on this new African American project.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday (February 1), Ross teased his new project, emphasizing the significance of the upcoming year, stating, “Champagne Moments, my new upcoming solo album. 2024 will be a champagne moment.”
