The song is one of the very first collaborations between Victor Ruz ( real name Wajja Victor ) and Caspian Marvin (real name is Simiyu Marvin ) . The latter recently joined the Retro Records music label that is run by the self proclaimed Nile Prince Victor Ruz. Caspian goes ahead to sing “ Nalamanyi bino tebili nkoma “ loosely translated as “ I thought this would never end. “ This sets the stage for a song where a man travels back in time recalling the love of his life and how it all fell apart.
The Chorus goes ahead to say that he hears her voice in his head and asks the lover not to erase the tattoo. Victor Ruz comes in around minute 1:38 and pours his pain in a beautiful verse that adds to th already heart soothing piece of work .
