Who is Iconic Kent Kris?
Iconic Kent Kris real name Allan Kato was born on 13th November 2003 in Kampala, Uganda. He grew up in the Kawempe division where he was raised by a single mother. Kent Kris is the last born in his family and has six sisters and one twin brother. The young lad was raised in a poor family by a single mother in Makerere Kikoni Village located in the Kawempe division. Kent is the last born in their family and he is a twin, he has 6sisters and a twin brother. Iconic Kent Kris attended Makerere Primary School and Kasubi Family Primary School for primary level and later joined New Styles S.S for high school. He never went far with his education and therefore stopped in high school.

What inspired iconic Kent Kris Into fashion and social media influence?
“I was inspired by a lot of African celebrated fashion icons and mostly Abryanz,” says Kent Kris, “I like what he does and honestly I dream to have a platform like his. And for the love I have for the fashion industry, I’m looking forward to making it bigger and stronger if life gives me a chance.”
In the field of Social Media influencing, Iconic Kent Kris is an expert and has experience in it. He has been on social media since 2013 and has inspired a lot of youths from Facebook to Instagram. At the age of 19 in 2022, Iconic Kent Kris says he managed to buy his first piece of land worth UGX 30M in Kampala. He then built rentals on it worth UGX 100M together with his sisters. He later also helped build his mum a house.

In 2022 Kent Kris worked to buy his first piece of land in Kampala at the age of 18 and built rentals on it. Later on, he also built his mum a house with the help of his sisters and today he has achievements worth 150M+. This is a great milestone for a 20-year-old to achieve as he came from a poor family. There, he was managed by a single mother, his 6 elder sisters, and one twin brother.
What does it feel like to work as a social media influencer?
According to Kent Kris, a social media influencer is more than just having a lot of followers. Influencers are in the position to do so many things for their followers. From helping people in need to promoting products and brands. Their community is everything to them and applies itself to giving back as much as it can.
“It’s quite scary!” Kent Kris exclaims, “And it becomes a responsibility. To become an influencer you must say or do something novel at some level. This is potentially isolating as truly independent ideas are more likely to repel others than influence them. It also requires interaction with others opening you up to inevitable rejection. But people can never un-hear what you have said; so your ideas will continue to influence them over time. People are naturally attracted to reason and confidence so don’t worry about your success or failure. As far as tips: Use logic and deductive reasoning to form your positions. Be consistent and principled. No one is influenced by someone who contradicts themselves.”
He adds, “Be genuine and honest. You must earn the trust of others. Say what you mean, and mean what you say. Be kind, and respectful to everyone and their positions. Find what you have in common with the ideas of others, support those agreements and praise them for their contributions. Be modest. Never brag about your abilities or intellect. If you are truly influential it will be obvious to others. Admit when you’re wrong, and give credit to those who influence you. Don’t be judgemental or controlling. You can not influence by force. To be influenced by someone is a voluntary act. So lead by example. Only give advice that you yourself should and could follow. Never attack a person’s character. It’s an automatic win for the opponent, and it shows the weakness of your position. Keep it impersonal. Let the ideas compete, not the people.”

Make sure you have reliable wardrobe staples: an iconic little black dress, a pair of jeans that fit perfectly, a classic blazer, simple T-shirts and button-downs in neutral colors, and an effortless leather jacket (or denim jacket).
