What Does It Feel Like Having Cancer?

Justine Mukisa shared with Kampala ET some details about her experience with cancer. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2020 and battled it using both natural remedies and doctor-recommended medication. During her lowest moments, she couldn’t even hold a drink or something to eat. The experience taught her that life is short and that people should treasure their health. “Thank God every day for your breath,” says Justine, “Thank Him for having air in your lungs.” She also advised parents to keep a keen eye on their children’s health conditions. No matter how small a health condition may seem, never ignore it – she exclaimed. Finally, she encourages people to do everything they want in life while they still can.

What Interests, Hobbies, and Achievements has She?

As an introvert, Justine’s interests may seem complicated to some people in her circle. She enjoys watching movies, TikTok, gyming (though sometimes lazy about it), swimming, and surrounding herself with people who know her and let her be her true self.

The model’s most significant achievement is self-confidence! This is because she has grown from the shy and low self-esteem person everyone used to know to a strong, powerful, and independent lady. Justine considers working with Eiffel Models one of the greatest gifts she has ever received. She actually says they have become more than just partners, but actual family.

Why Cancer Is Still A Serious Health Issue

It is important to note that cancer is a serious and potentially life-threatening disease. It is essential to take care of one’s health and seek medical attention if any symptoms arise. Regular check-ups and early detection can increase the chances of successful treatment and recovery. Furthermore, cancer affects not only the patient but also their loved ones, who may also require support and care during this difficult time.
