When asked about the name of the show, Baby Gloria enthusiastically shared, “It’s called Kampala Creme, and it’s all about showcasing the everyday lives of the popular socialites and personalities in Kampala, Uganda. We want to give people an inside look at how we live.”
Who created the Kampala Creme Reality TV Show?
Organized by Soma and DSTV, the show aims to fill a void in Uganda’s entertainment scene. Baby Gloria highlighted the patriotic motive behind creating “Kampala Creme,” stating, “We had no reality TV in Uganda, so this is the first exclusively Ugandan reality TV show.”
One interesting aspect of the show is the mix of participants, including secular personalities like Mutoni Etania, and Zahara Toto. Baby Gloria shared her experiences working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, saying, “When working with some, it is easy, while for others, it’s hard to work with them.” This dynamic is expected to bring a unique flavor to the show as it captures the unfiltered interactions among the cast.
Where will Kampala Creme be aired?
The show will be aired on Pearl Magic TV and Show Max for online viewership. Baby Gloria encouraged fans to tune in, stating, “You can catch us on Pearl Magic TV, and for those who prefer online streaming, Show Max has got you covered.”
As for what viewers can expect from her in the show, Baby Gloria said, “Just for the record, I may be scarce.” However, she teased that audiences can anticipate the appearance of her mother, Betty Nakibuka, in some scenes.
Why is Baby Gloria working with such a cast?
Despite being a gospel-affiliated participant, Baby Gloria emphasized the importance of having a diverse cast. “We can’t let only secular people. We need to put out there our talent as believers of Christ such that we win souls to Christ,” she explained. Baby Gloria shared, “The popular Ugandan personalities and socialites are going to showcase their stories and lifestyles. They are supposed to reveal to the public how their average daily life goes.”
