From around 2015, we started seeing the rise of positive minded blogs and magazines such as Kampala Sun, Mugibson, as well as several others that focus more on positive energy rather than shaming and degrading.

Kampala Edge Times aka (KET) is a Ugandan online magazine created by John Kenny Adeya on 08th January 2020 originally called Distinctively Trendy It was made for the sole purposes of Information, Inspiration and Entertainment and with the intention to bridge the gap between Ugandans and relevant information they need on the internet.
Who Is John Kenny Adeya?
John Kenny Adeya born 6th November 1999 is a Ugandan journalist, writer, content creator and entrepreneur. He is popular for creating KET online magazine and YouTube channel and also winner of 1000 dollar award from the US Alliance for fighting Corporal punishment in America.

In the start of July 2021, KET got lucky by receiving comments from a number of artists such as A Pass, Naira Ali which earned their Facebook page a huger following. Of recent therefore, the numbers are flipping rapidly and the website is going to be upgraded to a world class standard such that it can represent its authenticity.
