The second season of the “Man Ah Rasta” tour is back with a bang. Hosted by the famed artist MC Spence, who is also a radio presenter at one of Tororo’s finest radio stations, 106.8 Rock Mambo FM, the show slated for Saturday, August 24, 2024, promises to be even bigger and better than the first tour.
The venue for this coveted show is Silk Gardens in Soko, Rubongi, just five kilometers from the heart of Tororo town. Silk Gardens is home to Silk Events, one of the powerhouses in hosting and conducting music shows and other events within Tororo.
The purpose of the show Is to provide a platform for Tororo’s budding artists to express themselves and interact with their fans. The Man Ah Rasta Tour hopes to promote Tororo music not only within Tororo but also throughout Eastern Uganda, Uganda, and the world.
The History of Man Ah Rasta Tour
The tour’s concept was created by MC Spence. The very first tour took place on June 17, 2024, at Pioneer Sports Club, Mile 3, Mbale Road. Tororo’s biggest names in music, such as Hon. Lil Jayz, Las Dagy, Konshus Ug, and Gift Risa, were among the acts lined up to perform.
However, the turnout didn’t meet expectations. But humans learn from the past, and this time around, MC Spence and his team promise to deliver the greatest show in Tororo’s history, headlined by homegrown artists.
In season two of the tour, over ten artists are expected to perform, including Nigger X, MC Spence himself, Chris Akon Madder, Lady R, and others. The show also serves as a prelude to a number of other shows expected to be held in Tororo before the year ends.
