Princess Sandra Elias Katutu is an award-winning Bunyoro multitalented, musician and actress who hails from Hoima. The Sanyu star is a movie writer, song writer, singer, actress, preacher and a minister for God. Sandra was born on 16th May 1990. This is how her passion for music and acting blossomed. “I joined the music industry right from when I was still young, right from school,” she shares. “And the school is Merchison Bay School in Luzira. That was my primary school when I joined the music industry.” Her debut in the movie industry came in 2014 with “Ensinsinkano Y’Ebizibu” by Matovu Osman. “What is it like standing in front of a camera knowing that a million people are watching you?” she ponders. “To me, it’s totally okay. It’s fine because it’s what I was born to do. So I don’t know how to answer that.” said Princess Sandra. It should be noted that Princess Sandra is the maid known as Katutu in the Sanyu Series. She also plays the role of Kush in the Sabotage movie. Her first lead role was in a movie titled Nyamba Muyambe directed by Matovu Osman.

Which her biggest turning point?
“The moment I saw myself the way God sees me,” she reflects, “I think it’s the best day of my life because it set me free and I don’t seek validation anymore. So I think that was a great moment in my life.”
