Who is Mikie Wine ?
Mikie Wine is a Ugandan artist, was born as Michael Mukwaya in Kampala, Uganda. His parents were the late Mzee Jackson Wellington Ssentamu and the late Margret Nalunkuma. While his business moniker is Mikie, the name Wine is inherited from his elder brother, the acclaimed musician and politician, Bobi Wine.
Hailing from the renowned “Sentamu” family, Mikie Wine is part of a musical legacy, as many of his brothers are also involved in music. He holds the position of the second youngest among his 10 siblings, with Dax Vibes following as the youngest, making waves in the music scene, particularly with his trending song “Believe.”
Mikie Wine is part of a notable family with famous siblings, including Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine), Eddy Yawe, Fred Nyanzi, and Dax Vibes, among others.
Educational Journey of Mikie Wine
Mikie Wine began his education in a modern primary school, completing his Primary Learning Education (PLE). For secondary education, he attended Eagles Nest SS Mengo. Subsequently, he pursued his UCE and UACE certificates at Standard High Zana.
Despite his attempts, he has not completed any university course, having enrolled in several universities. Initially, he joined Makerere University for a Bachelor’s in Music, Dance, and Drama, but financial constraints led to an unfinished pursuit. After a hiatus from school, he registered at Kampala International University but faced similar challenges, hindering his completion.
Opting for a pragmatic approach, Mikie Wine chose to prioritize securing sufficient funds before considering rejoining university in the near future.

What is the shoot about?
On January 12, 2024, the sensational singer realised photos on his socials profiles. This went viral as the entire country thought it was a vowel to his beloved. Later the information came to know that it was a video shoot for a song with a gospel singer Levixon. The song titled “Lunaku Lwe Luno” which means “This is the day”.
