MTN has officially changed their logo after a number of decades having a single look and becoming a household name.

According to management, the new logo sees ‘MTN’ written in normal block letters and in blue with an oval of the same colour around it, while the yellow background seems to be a lighter shade of yellow than the older logo.
The new logo actually symbolizes the brand’s shift from being a regular telecommunications company to a fully fledged technology brand. M
On 17th February 2022, we saw MTN change their profile pictures all over social media which indicated a slight change in branding. However, the new look is strikingly similar to the old look.
The new logo has been approved by the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) and is visible outside MTN’s offices near the 14th Avenue Offramp to the N1 Freeway in Johannesburg.
According to the telecom giant, the rebrand will be group-wide, and not just at the MTN’s Johannesburg headquarters.
