Very few of us would take the position of Mulungi Deniz Jade if we were to turn back time. Firstly, America’s Next Top Model was such a complicated concept for any child. But, secondly, because you didn’t know that modelling was a whole career. Here is the story of a very self-aware fashion model for your own convenience.
Who is Mulungi Deniz Jade?
Meet Mulungi Deniz Jade, a young Ugandan model who is currently making waves in the industry. Born on January 8th, 2014, Mulungi is an elementary school student who loves science and English. She is from Busoga kingdom and lives in Bukoto, a suburb of Kampala, with her dad, Mr Waiswa Daniel, and her elder sister.

How Did Mulungi Deniz Jade fall for fashion modelling?
She first expressed an interest in modelling at just three years old after watching America’s Next Top Model hosted by Tyra Banks. Her passion for modelling only grew stronger, and at the age of six, she signed with Eiffel Models Ug. Mulungi’s career took off last year when she walked in the famous Upendo fashion show, and she will soon be holding her own show, God willing. She was officially unveiled to the industry in October 2022. Aside from modelling, Mulungi is also a great dancer and loves swimming. She relies on her aunt Nority to be present for practices and events, as her parents have busy schedules.

What challenges does she face?
The modelling industry can be challenging, especially on event/show days, and requires a child to have at least two guardians available backstage, which can be overwhelming at times. Despite the challenges, Mulungi is a confident public speaker, a great fashion and commercial model, and a good dancer. She loves swimming, dancing, singing, watching television, riding a bicycle, and skating.

Inspiration from Eiffel Models Ug
Mulungi is under the Eiffel Models Ug agency, and she considers the company to be fabulous to work with. She advises young people to talk to their parents for approval and support when they see something they love. She also encourages them to be respectful and responsible, as she believes these are the core values of life. Mulungi reminds us that it’s okay to fall, but we should always get up, dust ourselves off, and start again to achieve tomorrow’s goals. With her confidence and talent, she is sure to achieve great things in the future.
