Kabale witnessed the early years of Nabaasa Benad, whose educational journey took him through Kamwezi Junior Brian Trust Nursery and Primary School, Katungu Primary School, Kitebi Senior Secondary School for O level, and Noah’s Ark Secondary Rubaga Campus for A level.
3. Why Did He Choose Modeling?
The modeling runway wasn’t an obvious choice for Nabaasa Benad. Initially scorned for his model-like appearance, a trait he once disdained, he decided to turn the tables. After completing his form four studies, he enrolled in modeling classes at Mads Company Fashion Academy, transforming what was perceived as a weakness into a formidable strength.

Missing a flight for his inaugural overseas job as security personnel, Nabaasa Benad faced a moment of despair that almost led him to contemplate suicide. Yet, emerging stronger, he attributes his resilience to the benevolence of a higher power.

In Nabaasa Benad’s own words, “Mmmm, it’s awesome seeing myself a step closer to achieving one of my goals. I have always wanted to represent Uganda, and I didn’t know how, but God is great. I should say I am humbled and grateful.”

Beyond the title, Nabaasa Benad holds the position of brand ambassador for the Purple Skills Klinic Foundation, an NGO founded by media personality Douglas Lwanga. Additionally, he serves as the PRO at Moreli Modeling Agency and is the official fashion MCee at Purple Party Africa. He also has a certificate in Public Speaking attained from Skills Klinic.
