How does it feel being announced as AFRIMACT Model of the Year?

I asked her about how it felt to win the Afrimact Model Of The Year award and Nyabonyo expressed:

“I feel so blessed and happy that I won this award.”
This succinctly captures the depth of her emotions and gratitude for the recognition.

Where was Nyabonyo Anna Before This?

Nyabonyo’s journey to this prestigious award is nothing short of remarkable. Currently serving as the country director of Miss Africulture, the founding organization of AFRIMACT, Nyabonyo is deeply involved in the industry. She represented Uganda at the Top Model UK earlier this year, showcasing her versatility. Her role as a confident and consistent individual played a pivotal role in her success, and she highlighted her dual life as a model and an Engineer, specifically a Land Surveyor. Her experience in both fields has undoubtedly contributed to her unique perspective and success in the industry.

What pushed Charity to participate in AFRIMACT Awards 2023?

In the highly competitive modeling industry, Nyabonyo attributes her success to being:

“Blessed and Favored by Both Man and God.”
Her humility and acknowledgment of external factors contributing to her success speak volumes about her character and approach to her craft.

What was life like for a Ugandan in Nigeria?

Speaking about the supportive community in Lagos, Nyabonyo emphasized the caring nature of the community, transcending national and cultural backgrounds. She encourages aspiring models, stating:

“It does not matter where you are and how you started your modeling career or passion… just keep moving.”
Her advice resonates beyond the modeling world, serving as an inspiration for individuals pursuing any passion, reinforcing the idea that opportunities are abundant for those who persevere.

What does it mean to become AFRIMACT Model Of The Year?

As the Model Of The Year, Nyabonyo recognizes the responsibilities that come with the title. She envisions using this platform to inspire and guide young, aspiring individuals in various talents, not limited to modeling. Nyabonyo aims to break stereotypes, emphasizing that individuals can pursue their passions alongside their careers, whether it’s modeling, engineering, or any other field.

AFRIMACT and Miss Africulture Relationship

Nyabonyo shed light on AFRIMACT Awards, mentioning her role as the country director of Miss Africulture, the organization behind AFRIMACT. The awards celebrate excellence and innovation in the African modeling industry. It provides a platform for talented individuals to showcase their skills and get continental recognition.
