The Clap for Jesus session lasted a whooping 3 hours and 20 extra minutes. Followers of the church were participating both physically and online with some even clapping using their legs. The sound of the handclaps was so loud that it was able to hit peaks of 90 dB.

In case you don’t get it, 90 decibels is a high noise level, equivalent to the sound level of a concert. Compared to 80 dB, 90 dB is 10 times more intense and twice as loud. Whenever you are exposed to this noise level, you should wear hearing protection.
