Born on 28th November 2003 Sharon Kiyimba is a beautiful Ugandan Fashion model. By the time of writing this article, she was just 18 years old and still in school. In spite of her age and school pressure, Sharon is a contestant at top model Uganda. She has attended Exodus college school Wakiso until senior six.

We caught up with Sharon and asked her about her tribe and childhood. Here is what she told us. “I grew up with a single mother and she is a Musoga. For this reason, I consider myself to be a Musoga.” said Sharon Kiyimba. Kiyimba started modeling during the pandemic period at Black Array agency. From then, her passion for ‘stealing the show’ grew more and more. According to the impeccable model, her biggest award came from Ghana. This happened after Sharon was honored as the best international young model Achiever.
What Are Sharon Kiyimba’s Hobbies?
Asking this question was like giving the elegant model a piece of cake. You can actually guess her answer! “My hobbies are modeling and traveling.”
What Makes The Ugandan Model So Confident?
The award winning model told us that she believes that she has a nice body. Sharon is proud of her skin and says she is created in God’s image. These powerful affirmations make the 18 year old girl way more confident. She however added that her career demands one to have the confidence about themselves. When we asked if she had ever gone overseas, she said, “I have never gone abroad but I believe with time I will. That’s because I pray in Jesus’s name.”
What Is Fashion Modeling In Uganda?
According to Sharon Kiyimba, Fashion Modeling is the art of showcasing someone’s outfit, products and clothes for certain brands. The fashion modeling industry has slowly but steadily grown in Uganda since 2018. One of the very first people to introduce fashion modeling in Uganda was Doreen Kabareebe. It’s no surprise therefore that Sharon derives her inspiration from Doreen Kabareebe. The young model says that she took up the modeling spirit after reading an article on Doreen’s website. “And I was like yes,” exclaimed Sharon, “I can do this!”
What Else Does Sharon Kiyimba Do?
Sharon says she is still in school so she doesn’t do much. Instead, she concentrates on her studies to catch higher grades. Her favorite song is Survivor by Wendy, whilst she has 3 dream destinations. She clearly states that she wants to visit Canada, Paris and The UK. You might be wondering what motivates such a tender aged woman to be so elegant. Well, we shall directly quote what she said. “I believe I’m the best teen model around!” affirmed Sharon, “And I know I can do my best to change the modeling industry of my country.”
