How UNEB dismissed fake news about PLE Results 2024
This announcement follows a period of widespread speculation regarding the release date. Earlier reports had suggested the results would be released on January 17, 2025, but UNEB dismissed these claims as false, urging the public to await official communication.
The 2024 PLE was conducted in November, with approximately 798,763 candidates sitting for the exams. This cohort included 419,357 females and 379,414 males who were assessed in English, Mathematics, Integrated Science, and Social Studies. The total number of candidates represented a 6.6% increase compared to the 2023 exams, signaling growing participation in primary education.
How do I check my PLE results 2024?
After the official release, candidates, parents, and teachers can access results in the following ways:
- SMS Service: By typing PLE, leaving a space, entering the full index number, and sending it to 6600. For instance, “PLE 00123/356” sent to 6600 will retrieve results.
- School Portals: Schools will be able to download results from UNEB’s online portals.
- Hard Copies: Printed results will be distributed to District, City, and Municipal Inspectors of Schools.
The release of PLE results 2024 is a pivotal moment for primary school learners transitioning to secondary education. UNEB has reassured the public of its commitment to maintaining transparency and accuracy in this process.
