The UNEB UACE 2024 release date has been a highly anticipated event for students, parents, and educators across the country. Based on the latest updates, UNEB has scheduled the official release of the 2024 UACE results for Friday, March 14, 2025, at State House Nakasero, with the event expected to commence at 11:00 AM East Africa Time (EAT). This date follows a briefing of the Minister of Education and Sports, Hon. Janet Museveni, which took place on the afternoon of Wednesday, March 12, 2025. The UNEB team, led by Chairperson Prof. Celestino Obua and Executive Director Mr. Dan Odongo, presented the results to the minister ahead of the public announcement.

Historically, UNEB tends to release UACE results in early March, as seen with the 2023 UACE results, which were released on March 7, 2024. The slight shift to March 14 for the 2024 results aligns with the board’s pattern of announcing results within the first two weeks of March, though delays have occasionally occurred in previous years due to logistical challenges or scheduling conflicts with the Ministry of Education. The 2024 UACE examinations, conducted in November and December of the previous year, saw a significant increase in candidates, with 142,009 students registered across 2,634 centers nationwide—a 22.1% rise compared to the 110,579 candidates in 2023. This growth reflects the increasing number of students pursuing advanced-level education in Uganda.
The release ceremony at State House Nakasero is expected to be presided over by the First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports, Janet Museveni, continuing the tradition of high-level oversight for such announcements.
How To Check UNEB UACE 2024 Results
Following the official release, students will be able to access their results through multiple channels. One common method is via SMS, where candidates can send a text message with “UACE” followed by their full index number (e.g., “UACE U0001/501”) to the shortcode 6600, at a cost of UGX 500 per message. Alternatively, results will be available online through the UNEB eReg Portal (ereg.uneb.ac.ug), where candidates can enter their index numbers to view their detailed performance. Heads of examination centers will also be able to download results from the UNEB portal for distribution.
