Who Attended Upendo Fashion Explosion 2023?
The show had several participants, especially designers who showed up to showcase their work. Among the designers included Emmy Awech(Uganda), Keem Ntunga (Uganda), Joyce child (Zambia), Kasikana (Tanzania), Romy Jay (Tanzania), Kanyali (Tanzania), Neah Fashion (Tanzania), and Kikies Closet (Uganda).
What Is The Upendo Fashion Explosion?
Upendo fashion explosion is an annual fashion charity event organized by Eiffel Models Uganda. The serial event started in 2019 spearheaded by Eiffel Models Ug Management with the aim of giving back to society. The first show(2019) attracted only local designers as well as the 2nd edition of 2020. Not long later, Upendo Fashion Explosion started attracting designers and models from other African countries. These among others include Tanzania, Rwanda, Zambia, Nigeria, Kenya, and Uganda in its 3rd edition.Â
History Of Upendo Fashion Awards
Upendo is a Swahili word meaning ‘Love’, Upendo Fashion Explosion was designed as a charity show that aims to give back with love and this will be held every year to reward people in the fashion industry.
