Wetsetse Suzan confirms “Shendi Concert” was extremely beautiful, numbers were overwhelming and a very big success. The concert happened on May 12, 2024, which was Mother’s Day at Mbale Courts View Hotel.
The “Shendi Concert”, What Inspired the Name?
Shendi is a gishu word meaning, ” What I am ” so literally we were acknowledging that we are who we are because God has willed.
First Concert Since Joining the Music Industry?
This was my Maiden concert and yeah, I must say I am humbled with the love shown to me by the people. Actually it was something nobody could expect, God is faithful, said Wetsetse Suzan.
Next Concert: When Can Those Who Missed This One Expect Another?
“We will surely communicate with my team” she said. This may be a little tricky, however with the determination Wetsetse Suzan has, you won’t wait longer. She is a lady of her words.

Reflect on the Entire Show Experience
I was nervous at first but later engaged with the audience and I am very sure we all enjoyed. When doing something you have never done, you imagine of the time frame to be on stage and you be like will I manage. Not like going for a show where one does take longer, now with this; one tends to have fear especially being a maiden concert.
Reactions from Those Reached Out To During Partner Search
They were positive and came through but the ones that didn’t come on board were probably limited by finances but I know next time better. Others really didn’t have a reason to partner with me because this was going to be my first show but nevertheless I thank all those that believed in my first Concert.
Recognizing Those Worthy of Special Appreciation
Special appreciation to my people that turned up for the show in different capacities (I love them back), to my sponsors ( Stanbic bank, Mbale Courts View Hotel, iWanda Digital Kreatives, JustDo events, RANN09, Mart Dezigns, Nishosho, GTS, Track24, Time Fm, Faith Radio and Nishosho. I also want to thank fellow artists that turned up. And lastly, the Shendi team that made sure everything went on the way it did.
Delivering a Message ?
I want to encourage the Bamasaba to continue with the same spirit in supporting their own people, let’s wish each other well and we will surely win together.
