Who is Wyclef Cabana?
Musinguzi Wycliff, who goes by the stage name Wyclef Cabana, is a multi-talented individual from Uganda. He is not only a singer but also a professional teacher, songwriter, businessman, and actor. He is signed with Talentwalls Management, and he gained recognition for his single “Abooki,” released in 2020
Wyclef Cabana was born on October 18th, 1998, at Nsambya Hospital in Uganda. He is currently 24 years old by the time of this story. When he sings, he combines Luganda with English, and occasionally incorporates his native language, Runyoro. His music style primarily focuses on Afro-Beats, Dancehall, and RnB genres.
Wyclef Cabana’s parents are Isaiah Kasangaki and Suzan Kasangaki. He has two siblings, Katusiime Charles and Murungi Ricky.
Wyclef Cabana: A Musical Journey Unveiled
Wyclef Cabana’s musical journey began in 2012 under the stage name Wyclef De Warren. His first single, “Yenze,” was released in that year and produced by Ronnie Da Don. In 2015, he followed up with songs like “Lumonde” and “Kuda Kuda Dance.” In 2016, he released “Obvious Case.”
During his early days, Wyclef Cabana formed a musical band called Purity Band, which he co-founded with his primary school friends, including Ayine Darwin, Kamese, Ssentumbwe Eddy and others.
Other Endeavors Beyond Music
In 2017, during his vacation, Wyclef Cabana worked at Curious Funeral Services in Mengo. He took on the role of a pallbearer in the funeral service to support himself financially, especially because gigs with his band were seasonal during that time.
Later In 2019, Wyclef Cabana joined the Kibz Band, led by Irene Kayemba, who is the elder sister of HE Bobi Wine. In the band, he served as a performing artist and managed gigs. During the lockdown period, he decided to rebrand from Wyclef De Warren to Wyclef Cabana, a name that gained prominence after the release of his song “ABOOKI.” His latest track is titled “TAKIMALA,” in which he featured DJ Kash Pro.
