AFRIMA Awards 2022 Nominees Full List

The Africa Music Awards aka AFRIMA Awards 2022 nominees list is officially out now. There’s no doubt how year’s edition has been flooded with a total 9,067 entries. This probably the highest number of entries ever submitted and screened for nominations from August 20, 2021 to August 5, 2022.
This time round, West Africa dominated the nominations list as compared to the other four African regions. All the regions have at least one artiste nominated in the different categories. There are some overseas producers and musicians like DJ Snake featured on the list as well. This is because such personalities have continuously collaborated with African stars. Major Ugandan acts nominated for different categories include Eddy Kenzo, Spice Diana, and DJ Lito.

How To Vote Your AFRIMA Awards 2022 Nominee

On Sunday, September 25, 2022, at 13:00 (EAT) O’clock, the public voting portal for the AFRIMA Awards 2022 edition will be live. Fans of African music all over the world should regularly check the Afrima Awards website in order to not miss any updates. The same site will have a voting page when the voting time is ripe. However, you should probably really be alert because voting shall close on December 10, 2022. This will be at 13:00 (EAT) O’clock shortly before the AFRIMA main awards ceremony start. The hosting country and official venue shall be announced on announced on September 30, 2022. Additionally, AFRIMA Awards 2022 will be held from the 8th to 11th December, 2022.
