You could easily miss the moon whilst shooting for the stars because of this girl’s humble average conduct. Today, Kampala ET dives into the life of this little beautiful singer from the outskirts of Kampala who first appeared on TV during the 2020 pandemic.

Who Is Felister Di Superstar?

Born as Nanyanzi Faith, Felister Di Superstar is a female Ugandan rapper and performing artiste. She is one of the youngest Ugandan celebrities from Kikoma, Sembabule with parents; Nyanzi Mike (Dad) and Nalubega Hasifah (Mum). Nanyanzi developed the love for music at the age of 4 whilst doing covers of her Dad’s songs. Asked the youngster where the Felister name derives from and here is what she told us. “My name comes from Faith – a Star; hence Felister!”

When Was Felister Di Superstar Born?

The recent entrant of secondary school was born birthday is on 18 April in 2012 and she is proudly a muganda by origin. Felister associates with a number of colleagues including Flesh kid, Bobi wine, Hon. Betty Nambooze along with several other influential people. “I am 11 years old and I know that I’m from a poor family.” says Felister, ” Having been raised by a single parent (my dad), I started music by miming my his songs. My father was an artist, but never got a chance to shine.

How She Became A Musician

One day, Nanyanzi escorted her father to a studio where they found people rehearsing in a rehearsal room. Nanyanzi was trying to peek through the door when a man (Geosteady Black man) asked her to get in if she wanted. Di Superster says that when she entered, they started to tease her if I knew how to sing. At this point, she made a nice freestyle which they recorded on a phone as a short video.

Geosteady uploaded the video clip to all his social media platforms because he is a famous singer. Surprisingly, everyone loved watching Felister Di Superstar’s freestyle. Next thing was journalists starting to look for the little girl and she appeared in interviews. Now, that’s how Felister became famous in Uganda. “I was greatly inspired by my one and only father and I was already receiving endorsements from huge brands.” revealed Nanyanzi. Unfortunately, the youngster’s social handles were soon hacked and she lost all the brand deals as well as endorsements.

What Are Her Hobbies And Achievements?

One undeniable fact is that Felister has a magnetically attractive confidence which keeps her going. Among other activities, she loves music, basketball ball and watching movies. Her biggest achievement so far is the bursary she got at Kampala parent’s school from the Ruparelia foundation which has just ended. Nanyanzi successfully passed her Primary Leaving Examinations and is now enrolled in secondary school.

The youngster has also successfully won upto 3 awards especially while working with a Fresh Kid. Felister likes Fresh Kid because she thinks he is good as well as a talented boy.

Advise For Young People From Felister Di Superstar

Nanyanzi says that young people should always practice their talents, never give up and respect their parents. She also urges them to fear and pray to God as well as present good manners in society.
