Today, Tororo Rugby recruited the Mayor of Busia, Uganda, Sadik Amin, as one of their trustees in the Bukedi sub-region to grow the sport of rugby. The mayor is the son of the former President of the Republic of Uganda, His Excellency Field Marshal Idi Amin Dada, also known as “The Conqueror of the British Empire,” “The Last King of Scotland,” VC, DC—the only African head of state who was carried on top of a special chair by white men, among other titles.

The opening of the rugby holiday project was graced by the Mayor of Busia Municipality, the Deputy Mayor, a municipal education official, and the councilor of Buchicha Primary School.
