Goodlyfe to stage a concert, however goodlyfe is a singing and recording label spearheaded by Moses Ssekibugo, also known as Radio, and Douglas Mayanja, also known as Weasel. But, it’s unfortunate that a member of Goodlife is no longer in existence, as Radio passed away on February 1st 2018. Goodlife was a crew one couldn’t help but listen to and watch; their music was sensational.
When Did Goodlyfe Come into Existence?
Goodlyfe came to life in 2008 when the two started working together as a singing duo. With a lot of talent, they released their first song, “Nakudata,” in 2008, followed by back-to-back hits to date. They successfully penetrated the music industry with nonstop entertainment, including songs like “Lwaki Onumya,” “Zuena,” “Bread and Butter,” and many more.
When Is the Goodlyfe Concert?
In a video, Douglas Mayanja, also known as Weasel Manizo, confirmed the date and venue of the concert. In his words, he said, “Welcome to the Goodlyfe, nga mwenda August, ku Hotel Africans jetwatandikila.” This means that Goodlyfe to stage a concert on 9th August 2024 at Hotel Africana, where they started. The show will be managed and set up by Norbert Events, who appeared in the video as Weasel Manizo was signing the documents. The cost per ticket is the only thing awaiting confirmation.
This will be the first show since the passing of the Goodlyfe lead singer, Radio. It has been organized at the venue where they once had an early concert during their time together as a duo.
