What is the Grand Pageant Royal Dinner 2024?

My name is Rebecca. I am the Operations Manager of the Grand Pageant Royal Dinner. The Grand Pageant Royal Dinner is an annual event that will take place every December. Essentially, it’s here to celebrate all pageant kings and queens around Uganda, to honor their accomplishments, connect, share meals, and celebrate our talents while promoting culture and tourism. So, that’s what the Grand Pageant Royal Dinner is about. It will be happening every year. We will be hosting queens and kings from various pageants, including Miss Tourism, Miss Uganda, Miss Gorgeous International Uganda, Miss Africa Unite Uganda, Miss Eloquent Africa Uganda, Miss Golden Africa Uganda, and Miss Eco Queen Uganda, just to mention a few.

Why was the Grand Pageant Royal Dinner 2024 organized by YUNIK MANAGEMENT?

We realized that we, as queens and kings, meet in different places for various reasons. You know, we’re all doing our work in our circles, but there’s never really been one special place where we can all come together, celebrate one another, connect, and share ideas on how we can collaborate. Yes, so that’s it about the Grand Pageant Royal Dinner. Additionally, we will also recognize different stakeholders in the pageant world, such as national directors, CEOs of specific pageants, sponsors, designers, and more. It’s going to be an inclusive event.

What is special about the Grand Pageant Royal Dinner 2024?

What makes this year’s event unique? This is the first event of its kind. What makes it special is that we are introducing “Diamonds of the Season 2024,” which is the theme for this year. We’ll have four nominees from each pageant, and from these nominees, whoever wins the most likes, comments, and shares on our social media platforms will be crowned the Diamond of the Season, both a king and a queen.

These two winners will then lead the other royals—the kings and queens—into a grand dance on the final day. That’s one unique aspect of this event. Another unique aspect is that it’s the first of its kind in Uganda. So, we want to invite all kings and queens to embrace this event because it’s a platform for them.

There are many pageants in Uganda, over 30, but some of them go unnoticed, as do some queens and kings. So, we created this event to allow those who may not have had much visibility to collaborate with those who have had larger platforms. This way, everyone can pitch their ideas, work together, and elevate each other.

What are the venue, date, and theme, and how can people get tickets?

We are yet to confirm the venue, but the date is December 7th, and the theme is “Diamonds of the Season 2024.”
As for tickets, we’ll have coordinators for each pageant who will sell the tickets. Additionally, we’ll provide contact details for anyone interested in purchasing tickets directly.

What can we expect? Who are the partners involved, and why was the event organized?
I think I’ve already answered why the event was organized. As for what to expect, we have a few partners so far, including Unique Models Academy, Sakye Becca Couture, and Miss Africa Unite. Additionally, Kampala Edge Times is now a new partner.

The event was organized to create a space where we can celebrate royalty, come together to promote each other, and build connections. It’s a place where pageant kings and queens can gather to share ideas and grow.

Who is the target audience of the Grand Pageant Royal Dinner 2024?

The target audience includes pageant kings and queens from across Uganda. Are there any notable guests attending? Yes, we will have notable guests, although all the kings and queens attending are already noteworthy guests. We’ll have Miss Uganda, Miss Tourism, and others. As for the guest of honor, we are considering inviting Toro royalty, but we will confirm this soon.

Does the event support any charitable cause?

Definitely. We have projects we’re working on where the queens will collaborate to reach out and help different people in need in our society. We’ll provide more details about this soon, along with information about our main sponsors and partners.

What can attendees expect in terms of the event experience?
On the day of the event, we’ll have a red-carpet experience, interviews, and opening remarks from the CEO and partners, followed by fashion runways. Many queens have their own fashion houses, so we’ll give them a platform to showcase their designs. We’ll also have cultural dances performed by the queens, cake cutting, a ball dance, and awards for various stakeholders.

Is there a dress code for the Grand Pageant Royal Dinner 2024?

Yes, the theme colors are black and gold. Everyone, including guests, is required to wear black and gold. Are there any post-event activities planned? If by post-event activities, you mean activities leading up to the event, we will be posting nominees from each pageant on our social media pages, and the public will vote by liking, commenting, and sharing. This process will run from next week until December, and it will determine the Diamonds of the Season king and queen. We hope to make it bigger and better in the future. For now, we’re starting where we can, but we have big plans.
