Who is Mirembe Pearl Valentina?

Mirembe Pearl Valentina was born on February 14, 2014. By the date of writing this article, the youngster is a 10-year-old chasing huge goals ahead. She is the daughter of David Kaggwa and Jacinta Haguma. She says her family has nurtured her talents and supported her aspirations from the start.

Where does she study?

Mirembe Pearl Valentina is currently enrolled in Sir Apollo Kaggwa Kisaasi Primary School. Her mum, Jacinta Haguma told Kampala ET that she is a diligent student, currently in Primary 5. She adds, “My daughter is balancing her academic pursuits with her burgeoning career in modeling.”

When did Pearl Valentina join Eiffel Models Ug?

In October 2023, Mirembe joined Eiffel Models Ug, marking the beginning of her modeling journey with the Revelation show. According to Ms Jacinta, Pearl’s entry into the world of modeling came through the desire for modeling during the lockdown while she watched young girls hitting the runway on Tiktok

This Talent was recognised & further forsted by her school through Talent Development Program at her school.

What has she discovered in the world of modeling?

Through her experiences in modeling, Mirembe discovered a powerful platform to advocate for girls’ empowerment. Her mum says she realized that modeling could be more than just striking poses. It means to inspire and encourage young girls to pursue their talents relentlessly.

How does it feel Winning Inter-Schools Miss Uganda 2024?

For the little cherub, participating in Little Miss Uganda 2024 was a transformative experience. Despite the demands and challenges of the competition, Mirembe embraced the opportunity for growth, learning, and exposure. Except she wasn’t alone; it all unfolded alongside her dedicated mother & elder brother who supported her every step of the way.

Which was the toughest time in her life?

Mirembe Pearl Valentina fell so sick at 3yrs with adenoids and tonsillitis that threatened her life with limited capacity to breath on her own. This went on until she underwent surgery to get rid of the physical blockages.

The other tough time happened when she had to perform on the finals of inter-schools Miss Uganda competition while she had the flu. “Pearl was weak & dizzy but we had to push through till the end”, her mum confessed.

Biggest achievements so far

Mirembe Pearl has won four awards at the finals of inter-school competitions. These include Miss Uganda junior, Miss Popularity over all, Miss Talent junior, and Miss Career junior. Additionally, she won elections at school for a ministerial position in 2023 as Min for Public Speech.

Future Aspirations

Mirembe Pearl Valentina aims to become an international model and influencer. She wants to use her platform to inspire young girls to pursue their passions fearlessly. Alongside her modeling ambitions, she harbors dreams of studying law at the university level.
