Who is Shamirah Nabatanzi?
Shamirah Nabatanzi, professionally known as Iam Shamirah, is a Ugandan runway and commercial model at Eiffel Models Ug and the CEO of Magic Mama Co. She comes from a family of six siblings. Although she used to be a timid person who lacked confidence and was afraid to address crowds or walk in front of people, she wanted to get out of her comfort zone and become a “normal human being.” This motivated her to become a model, and she is proud to be where she is today.
Why does she cross into storytelling?
Shamirah has a passion for storytelling because she wants to inspire and encourage girls of her age who might be going through the same things she went through. In the past, she lacked confidence and missed many opportunities. However, people told her she had the qualities of a runway model, and she eventually realized that her false impressions about herself were holding her back. She wants to help others overcome their own self-doubts and fears.
What challenges has Shamirah Nabatanzi found?
The diva faced the challenge of fighting the wrong beliefs she had about herself. Regardless, Shamirah has had the opportunity to work with big designers from different countries, including Sasha Vybes. She has also worked with Eiffelmodelsug, a well-known brand in the modelling industry. Shamirah’s speciality is the runway. She loves capturing everyone’s attention with her runway walk and considers it her moment to shine. However, she admits to being a perfectionist and not liking anything short of perfection. This can sometimes cause her to feel uneasy when something isn’t up to her standards.

In her free time, Shamirah enjoys shopping, listening to slow ballads, and wearing nice perfumes and expensive clothes. She considers herself a person who likes to keep it classy. Shamirah’s biggest achievement is gaining the confidence she was seeking and accepting herself and her perfect imperfections. Additionally, she has had the opportunity to work with big names in the entertainment industry and has started her own brand, Magic Mama.
