Who Is Tashan Brianah?
Tashan Brianah is a talented Ugandan model under Eiffel Models Ug born on May 6th, 2017. Regardless of her young age of 6, she is already making a name for herself in the modelling industry. In addition to modelling, Tashan also has a passion for singing, dancing, and acting. She is currently in the pre-primary section and loves English and music. Tashan’s birth was a blessing to her parents and loved ones, and she was raised in the Nansana suburbs of Wakiso, from the Buganda kingdom, in the Kiganda-Kinyarwanda culture. She is the firstborn child of her father, Katumba Samuel Kusaasira, and her mother, Nayiga Faridah. She has also been a contestant in Little Miss Uganda before.
What Inspired her passion for modelling?
Tashan’s passion for modelling was inspired by her natural personality, which is jolly, friendly, and cheerful. From the young age of 2 years and 8 months, Tashan showed an interest in fashion shows, modelling, and pageants of different organizations, as well as different dance styles shown on TV. With the zeal and support of her mother, Tashan’s confidence was built up, and her parents gained the confidence to support her in exploring her modelling talent. In 2021, at age 3, Tashan participated in the Little Miss Universe pageant, where she won the title of Career Queen. Later in the same year, at the age of 4, she was awarded the East African Print Baby of the Year 2021.
What challenges has Tashan faced in her career?
One of the challenges Tashan and her family faced was the lack of support from people who didn’t believe in her dreams. Many discouraged her parents, saying that this venture was a waste of time and money, but Tashan’s mother continued to move forward and support her daughter’s aspirations, no matter what.
